“Our country of Canada is changing and becoming more and more of a cultural and religious mosaic. This is both a challenge and an opportunity for our churches. Greg will share about his recent ethnographic research project at Willowdale CRC in Toronto and the experience of that church in welcoming over 100 people from Iran. What are some of the challenges and how can we see others as a gift to us (and we also as a gift to them). What are some of the important dynamics of being a host and a guest. What are some common practices of welcome that we can adopt and can we develop a culture of hospitality? There will also be time for questions and reflections on local church contexts and questions that arise.”
